Organization Description: 

Chuck Chellman has been involved with more hit records than any individual in America, in all types of music! His record distribution, promotion, publishing and production credits are too many to mention. He did it all. He worked with all the greats and still considers all of them friends. He now brings all this experience to you in Parade Of Stars. Parade Of Stars was purchased by Chellman in 1973. The publication began in approximately 1968 by Russ Allison, who was employed by Al Bennett’s Memphis Music Group.

Development Notes: 

Parade of Stars was BeareWare's first client back in 2000. Seven years later it was time for a new development that would reinforce their music brands and utilize the latest technology with images, mulit-media, RSS feeds, and pre-existing great content. Design Director Vicki Payne focused on increasing the number of music stories on the new Songwriters Parade website without adding content presure to the site owners. This was accomplished by RSS feeds including CMS & Billboard feeds. Incorporating new images from pictures taken over the last 30 years gave the site historical music validity. A full online shop to sell memberships (with secure server and online payment) and a secure membership area for songlistings rounded out the development of this state of the art songwriters website.
