Wilson Living Magazine's purpose is to keep the citizens of Wilson County connected to each other. We hope to bring you stories about your neighbors that you may not have known. We intend to keep you informed on local businesses, politics and government that affect your daily lives. We will share inspiring stories of those in Wilson County who are giving back to the community. And we will provide you all the Wilson Happenings on restaurants, sports, schools and events that can be found in the area.

Development Notes: 

Wilson Livng Magazine approached BeareWare with their first magazine edition hitting the streets on November 1, 2008. They wanted to concurently launch their website - www.wilsonlivingmagazine.com at the same time. The websites focus was to highlight the quality of the articles, columns and features while still promoting the print edition. Then using the website to enhance readers experiences with a photo gallery to expand on the pictures in the magazine and a very active calendar to elaborate and expand of upcoming events in Wilson County.

Design Director Vicki Payne took the magazine design and created an elegant extension that showcases the flavor of this unique magazine. Vicki incorporated interactive options including Founder's Favs which requires online registration and helps drive additional traffic to the website. A subscription module was also added to allow people to order the magazine thru the convenience of their computer. A high profile advertising module was developed to promote and position the 30 plus advertisers that supported the magazine in their premier edition.
